Since Saint Hurmizd's Cathedral was the first church dedicated to St Hurmizd outside of the homeland, it is only fitting that we celebrate all of its milestones. On Sunday 25 October 2015, the Assyrian Church of the East Youth Association Sydney and the wider Assyrian community joined together to celebrate one of these momentous and historic occasions – 25 years since the opening of St Hurmizd’s Cathedral.

The 25th Anniversary Ball was a remarkable event made possible with the continuous support of our youth, members of the Assyrian community, and our glorious and all-powerful God.

We’d like to particularly say thank you to:
