Terrorists may be preparing to use Ebola as a weapon of mass destruction against the civilized world.

اقتباس :: LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online): The men, all volunteers, file by the sick, visiting each prostrate man in turn. They whisper "Allau Ackbar," to one another, professing the greatness of Allah to the men on the cots and one another. Within the space of an hour, several dozen volunteers have infected themselves with the world's deadliest strain of Ebola.

Just 24 hours later, their journeys begin. They're not sick or contagious yet. There are no fevers or symptoms. Just passports, some cash, and plane tickets. They make their way to airports in places like Cairo and Tunis.
From there they fly to other places, some north to Europe, some south to other parts of Africa, a few more head East. Now well dispersed around the globe, they board flights bound for the United States. Flying in to many different destinations, they are not detected entering the country a week later.

Quick screenings by exhausted agents don't detect anything, the men are all waived through airport security at their destinations.

Once on the streets, they book themselves into hotels and wait. They wait for the first aches and pains to start, the runny noses and watery eyes. As soon as the first symptoms appear, they make their way back into public, seeking the busiest places.

Subway tunnels, bus stations, shopping malls and grocery stores are their targets. Even a few playgrounds are visited. The friendly men shake hands with others, they wipe their noses then touch other objects. The move too slow to cover their sneezes on subways.

Within a few days, the men become so ill they cannot continue their mission, but that part has been planned too. Within 72 hours, news across the nation lights up with alarm. Cases of Ebola have been identified in every major U.S. city, and all the victims appear to be Muslim men, some with suspected ties to terrorist organizations.

Finally the terror begins. Cities shut down as people refuse to go outside. Riots and violence erupt. Hospitals and first responder systems are paralyzed with fear. Worst of all, hundreds, if not thousands of people become ill, infected with Ebola. By the time many victims realize what has happened, they have infected their families and others as well.

A schoolteacher becomes ill in the classroom, a priest during communion. A ticket agent powers through her shift although she feels miserable, an infected checker takes money and hands back change at a checkstand. A short order cook...

Within a month, the United States boasts more Ebola victims than any other nation on Earth, and all the technology and sophistication in the world can do nothing to stop the outbreak.

This is the frightening possibility that experts say could happen should al-Qaeda, the Islamic State, or its affiliated organizations decide to strike at the United States by turning willing suicide bombers into human bioweapons.

Although the U.S. government is well equipped for a bioterror attack and has a thick playbook, an organized attack of this magnitude could still overwhelm the defenses. Even if the disease were mitigated, the fear stoked by a widespread public outbreak would cripple the country, possibly for months.

This wouldn't be the first time diseases have been used as a weapon of terror. The Bubonic Plague was used by the Mongols in 1346 during the siege of Caffa in Crimea, and the British and Americans (allegedly) infamously used smallpox infected blankets to spread the disease to Native American populations. Disease was also a critical factor in emptying the Americas of its people for European conquest.

Will Ebola now be used to stop the West from interfering with Islamic expansion in the East? With our wide-open borders, it remains a chilling possibility.
