Knights of Columbus mar Toma council received the international award

Our own Mar Toma council of the knights of Columbus received the International community service award at the supreme convention in Philadelphia for their work to raise money for the Iraqi Christians.
His Excellency Chaldean archbishop Bashar Ward of Erbil attended the convention as the keynote speaker and he thanked the Knights for their contribution to the Christians refugees. Our Grand knight kamal Alsawaf and his wife Jenny received the award in behalf of our Mar Toma council.
